Overwatch Systems: Geospatial develops commercial software which is used for high-volume image analysis workflows. The company today is comprised of a world class team of technologists in the fields of commercial software development, remote sensing, applied math, geographic information systems, photogrammetry, signal processing, medical imaging and image visualization.
Overwatch Systems was started to bring together technology, software and programs which will exponentially expand the capabilities of the warfighter, Homeland Security, and the intelligence communities.
Our RemoteView family of products is in use by government and commercial installations around the world and is the premier application for the exploitation of high-resolution satellite and other forms of remotely sensed imagery. Our medical imaging products, MEDx, Digital Image Archive System (DIAS), and NeuroNavigator, are installed at over 400 of the world's leading medical research facilities and hospital centers, including one of the world's largest medical imaging archive systems at the National Institutes of Health.
A new era was born on September 24, 1999 with the launch of the IKONOS high resolution imaging satellite by Space Imaging. IKONOS will produce images of the earth's surface at a ground resolution of one meter with unparalleled positional accuracy. This is a 100-fold increase in data over today's most readily available commercial satellite imagery. At one meter resolution cars can be differentiated from trucks, individual houses can be identified, and previously inaccessible areas of the earth's surface can be accurately mapped for the first time in history. The advent of one-meter imagery will have a profound effect on fields as diverse as agriculture, mapping, utilities, urban planning, forestry, environmental monitoring, land development and real estate.
RemoteView is the most capable product available for dealing with these images, which can have individual file sizes exceeding one gigabyte. RemoteView provides an extensive range of features and capabilities that merge the technologies of raster based images and vector based geographic information systems. Sensor Systems has existing relationships with all of the commercial companies currently developing one-meter resolution satellite platforms, including Space Imaging, OrbImage and EarthWatch.

Advanced Medical Imaging
Overwatch Systems enjoys powerful collaborations with the world's leading medical imaging research organizations including The National Institutes of Health, Harvard Medical School, Yale University, UCLA School of Medicine, Johns Hopkins, Georgetown University and Oxford University. Through these collaborations and our talented team of medical imaging researchers and developers we have created MEDx, the world's leading product for the visualization and analysis of advanced medical imaging applications. As an outgrowth of the successful MEDx research application, we are developing clinical applications in conjunction with several of the world's leading medical products companies for introduction in the year 2000. These products will be marketed under the NeuroNavigator trade name and will provide revolutionary advances in medical imaging by bringing functional MRI (fMRI) capabilities to the clinical environment for the first time. www.medicalnumerics.com
